Books

There are people who just want to grow their business and value information about their next steps the most.

If not a detailed plan, books can at least help a farmer draw the right roadmap for their farm and feel much better spending some hours outside of regular everyday tasks related with operations.

Depending on their plans choice can be pretty broad:

Choose Organic Mushroom Farming and Mycoremediation if they see mushrooms as their next best challenge. Many microgreens farmers are in love with mushrooms for a number of reasons and they are looking for ways to expand their know how, so they are prepared once the right moment to act arrives.

Choose Clockwork: Design Your Business to Run Itself to help them see how business really works. It will give them the right mindset and directions to build serious foundations for next level of farm expansion.

Choose Networking In The New Normal: Networking Never Looked This Good if you feel they are missing out on the advantages on being it touch with the people who'll show them the path to growth. This is a best seller in networking, why doing it and how to do it properly.

Choose How Much Money Do I Need to Retire? if you feel they need to get outside their comfort zone and put the right foundations for their future financial security. It will not only help them learn the basic principles of saving, but also how they could turn part of their income into smart investments.

Pick something on microgreens if you know them well and you are aware which book can complete their know how in the most meaningful way.

There are couple of best sellers worth starting with:

Mark Mathew Braunstein's Microgreen Garden: Indoor Grower's Guide to Gourmet Greens. Mark's book is a classic read for both beginners and advanced microgreen farmers.

Even experienced farmers find it valuable and up to date. This is a book that's not for the commercial grower at a larger scale. Instructions are very precise and easy to follow especially on the paper edition which we recommend.

Another great choice is Eric Franks's Microgreens: A Guide To Growing Nutrient-Packed Greens. The book itself was published in 2009. It's a bit more basic and offers a good comprehensive overview of the process and important factors that contribute to successful execution.

It also covers composting and even vermicomposting. Eric care about the overall picture of growing great plants while maintaining soil fertility.

Greeting Cards

This one is really authentic!

Gift a Green is offering unique greeting cards with organic microgreen seeds - you send them and your recipient gets to sow, grow and eat!

The Gift-a-Green edible greeting cards are fun for everyone! They have cards for any occasion as Birthdays, Mothers Day, Christmas, and more.

They use only certified organic microgreens that are safe, healthy and tasty plus their products are packed by hand in Vancouver, B.C.

Customers simply choose a card, write a message and include the mailing address and then add a stamp. There's no need to put in a separate envelope as their cards are the envelope and grow pot in one!

If you are a farmer yourself, what books and cool gifts you have received from your family and friends?
